Learning in a group can be motivating.
Two Age Groups.
Daniella de Winter always prefers to work in small groups rather than one-on-one. Working in small groups allows each student to participate in a controlled manner without taking up the group’s time resources. Social interaction is extremely important as it builds confidence, even when one might initially feel embarrassed. Furthermore, in a group setting, students can learn from one another, ask questions, and share experiences.
Learning in a group can be motivating. When students see their peers making progress, it can inspire them to keep working toward their own goals. Similarly, when students see that they are not the only ones struggling, they realize that they are all in the same boat, which can help reduce feelings of isolation and build confidence. This sense of belonging to a group of strugglers shows that they are not alone in this journey, and peer support can be instrumental in their learning and achievement.
In conclusion, group settings can create a supportive environment where students see that they are not alone in their struggles. This boosts their confidence and encourages resilience.
